Job summary

cinch store in Derby is seeking a Parts Advisor to manage parts orders, stock, and workshop support. You will have prior stock control or parts administration experience within the automotive sector, with strong Excel skills and excellent numerical and communication abilities.

The role is permanent, full-time, with a Monday–Friday 08:30–17:30 schedule. A competitive salary is offered along with a benefits package to support career growth within the cinch family.

• Previous experience within the automotive sector.
• Computer literate with experience in using Excel.
• Strong communicative skills – speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Booking goods into the system, cross-referring vehicle parts, liaise with the stock team to order required parts, completing stock checks both physical stock holding and system balances.
• Answer all email and telephone queries, complete weekly reports and all relevant paperwork, assist in the provision of quality administrative support to the workshop.
• Maintain all systems ensuring that adequate and appropriate records are created and maintained.
• Ensuring that work is carried out efficiently to ensure deadlines are met.
• Other ad-hoc duties.

What you'll be working on

We are looking for a Parts Advisor for our cinch store in Derby. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for ordering parts and consumables as well as storing and issuing parts to the workshop. This is an ideal role for a candidate with previous experience of working as a stock controller or parts administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Booking goods into the system, cross-referring vehicle parts, liaise with the stock team to order required parts, completing stock checks both physical stock holding and system balances.
• Answer all email and telephone queries, complete weekly reports and all relevant paperwork, assist in the provision of quality administrative support to the workshop.
