Job summary

Cinch Cars Limited is seeking a Mobile Repair Technician to join a national team. This role supports customers with versatile day‑to‑day tasks and offers comprehensive on‑the‑job training. Tools are provided, and the position includes a company van for work.

The ideal candidate will have Level 2 or 3 qualifications, experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic, and a proactive approach to diagnostics and repairs. This is a permanent, full‑time role with standard Monday to Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic is essential.
• Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs (where qualified).
• Diagnose problems in the workshop and perform electrical diagnosis if needed.
• Carry out repairs per approved methods to restore vehicles to original condition.
• Handle warranty repairs per manufacturer standards.
• Complete documentation accurately and follow company procedures.

Job Role – Mobile Repair Technician - Level 2 or 3

Salary – Up to £40,000 per annum

Location – Chippenham & Surrounding areas

Working Hours – Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Job Status – Permanent

Due to a formation of a new department, we are looking for a Mobile Repair Technician to join a national technician’s team to support our customers. This role is ideal for a Level 3 Technician who enjoys versatile day-to-day job activities as every day comes with new challenges. You will be comfortable with face-to-face interactions with our customers providing professional service.

As a Mobile Repair Technician, you will not be required to have your own tools, these will be provided to you with a work van.

What you will be working on:

• Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs (if qualified)


• Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles


• Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition


• Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards


• Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed

Things we look for in you:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector


• Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3


• Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 2 years
