Job summary

Cinch Cars Limited is seeking a Mobile Repair Technician to join a nationwide technician team supporting customers in Corby and surrounding areas. This permanent role offers a stable career path within a fast-growing automotive retailer.

The position provides a work van and tools, with standard hours Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00. You will service and repair vehicles, diagnose faults, and complete documentation in line with manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector required.
• Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 required.
• Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs (if qualified).
• Diagnose problems on vehicles and perform electrical diagnosis if needed.
• Carry out repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to original condition.
• Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
• Ensure all documentation is completed and procedures followed.

Due to a formation of a new department, we are looking for a Mobile Repair Technician to join a national technician’s team to support our customers. This role is ideal for a Level 3 Technician who enjoys versatile day-to-day job activities as every day comes with new challenges. You will be comfortable with face-to-face interactions with our customers providing professional service.

As a Mobile Repair Technician, you will not be required to have your own tools, these will be provided to you with a work van.

What you will be working on:

• Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs (if qualified)
• Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
• Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition
• Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
• Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed

Things we look for in you:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector
• Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 required
