Job summary

Sinclair Group is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our Volkswagen Van Centre Swansea team. You will be at the heart of our Aftersales operation, assisting customers, technicians and suppliers to ensure the right parts are available on time.

Knowledge of automotive parts and a proactive, customer-focused mindset are essential. You will identify parts, source stock, handle enquiries, promote accessories, and contribute to achieving departmental targets, with a strong emphasis on outstanding

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Parts Advisor to join the team at Volkswagen Van Centre Swansea. This is a busy and rewarding role where you'll be at the heart of our Aftersales operation, supporting customers, technicians and suppliers to ensure the right parts are available at the right time. Whether you already have parts experience or come from a strong customer service background with an interest in the motor trade, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll be doing

• Assisting customers with parts and accessory enquiries
• Identifying, sourcing, and supplying parts accurately and efficiently
• Supporting workshop technicians with parts requirements
• Matching customer orders to stock and offering competitive pricing
• Handling telephone, face-to-face, and online enquiries
• Promoting parts and accessories to maximise sales opportunities
• Managing stock levels
• Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, returns, and warranty items
• Processing payments and completing paperwork accurately
• Working towards departmental targets and KPIs
• Delivering outstanding customer service at every stage of the customer journey
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A positive, team-focused approach
• Good IT skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Previous automotive or parts experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Knowledge of commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Salary: £26,624 basic salary with an OTE of £30,224 plus overtime paid at time and a half.
