Job summary

Smithmtn is seeking a Partnerships Officer (Recruitment and Admissions) to support the Quality Office and Collaborative Provision Unit on franchise and validation work. • Support the work of the Quality Office and the Collaborative Provision Unit in respect to franchise and validation work.
• Check all applications submitted for enrolment onto a franchised programme and ensuring compliance with all university requirements.
• Check all written work (entry essays) completed and monitor for concerns on potential fraudulent submissions.
• Support the CPU compliance visit schedule (i.e. undertaking ID checks).
• Reviewing certificates for English tests taken and confirming their appropriateness and validity.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Partnership Admissions Quality Officer in supporting the Collaborative Provision Unit, and specifically franchise admissions.
• Identify any potential anomalies and elevate admissions risks internally.
• Ensure correct application of the admissions policy including contextual admissions when appropriate.
• Review recorded interviews and attend a sample of interviews undertaken at partners.

To support the work of the Quality Office and the University as a whole and in particular the work of the Collaborative Provision Unit in respect to franchise and validation work.

Responsible for all admissions processes for the Franchised provision. Duties will also include validation processes, managing the established quality systems and servicing of a committee or task group.
