Job Description

The Partnerships' Manager is responsible for generating income and supporting organisational growth through the development and management of corporate partnerships. The role focuses on securing new business while maintaining and growing existing relationships, ensuring partnerships deliver value for both the organisation and corporate supporters.
Working closely with the Head of Partnerships, the postholder will manage a portfolio of partners, providing excellent account management and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. They will identify opportunities to increase engagement, secure investment, and maximise the potential of each partnership.
Key responsibilities include understanding partner objectives, developing tailored partnership proposals, supporting contract negotiations, and securing long-term financial investment. The Partnerships' Manager will help create innovative collaborations that align with organisational goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
The role requires close collaboration with teams across the organisation to identify and maximise partnership opportunities. Acting as a key point of contact, the postholder will ensure effective communication and successful delivery of partnership activities.
The Partnerships' Manager will also research market trends, industry developments, and new business opportunities to support partnership growth. Regular reporting and stakeholder updates will be required to monitor activity and maintain strong relationships.
Strong organisational and administrative skills are essential. The postholder will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, contracts, reports, and account information within Spektrix, ensuring all partnership data is up to date and compliant.
The role combines business development, account management, stakeholder engagement, and partnership delivery to build sustainable corporate relationships that generate income, enhance visibility, and support the charity's long-term success.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience achieving sales or fundraising targets and managing successful partnerships, with a strong focus on building positive, long-term relationships. They will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver excellent account management.

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential, along with attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office. Experience of researching prospective partners and using CRM systems would be an advantage.

We are looking for a proactive, collaborative team player who takes ownership, enjoys achieving results, and is motivated by continuous improvement. A genuine enthusiasm for supporting a charitable cause, alongside an appreciation of the arts, science, and culture, is important.

GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) or relevant partnerships experience is required.
