Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Partnerships Director to lead and execute strategic initiatives with payment method partners and expansion partners across the EMEA region. You will negotiate deals, onboard partners, and influence product strategy to accelerate growth in digital payments.

The role requires 10+ years in partnerships or related fields, deep EMEA market knowledge, and a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development or corporate development.
  • 5+ years of experience related to payments and/or ecommerce.
  • Deep knowledge of the EMEA region including Israel, Middle East and Africa, and payment dynamics.
  • Ability to influence across senior stakeholders and manage ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in product-centric settings with internal and external dependencies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and craft partnership and product strategies for market expansion and payment method partners in existing markets in EMEA.
  • Execute deals, manage partner onboarding and partnership development for new and existing financial partners.
  • Understand partners’ strategic priorities and align them with the company product roadmap; communicate insights to product stakeholders.
  • Develop and grow relationships with partners and align priorities between partners and the company.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure deal processes and ongoing partner management.

About the team

The Global Payment Methods and Expansion Partnerships team develops and manages relationships with payment methods and financial partners that enable the company’s product strategy, and delivers new capabilities in new and existing markets to the company users. Our team executes on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across new products, geographic expansion, user advocacy, and policy. These partnerships have a significant impact on the company and the products used by millions of our users.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a new member to join our team to develop and execute on high-impact initiatives with both payment method partners and expansion partners in new and existing markets, focusing on EMEA. These partnerships form the basis of the company’s product. As part of these efforts, you will be responsible for deal negotiation and execution for our EMEA payment methods and expansion business. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth and success of the company's payment method partners.

The role will require close coordination with product and engineering teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders including go to market teams, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Risk, etc., and with external partners’ senior executives.

  • Execute deals, manage partner onboarding and partnership development for new and existing financial partners
  • Understand our partners’ strategic priorities, challenges, and internal roadmaps; regularly communicate insights and recommendations to the company product stakeholders
  • Develop and grow the company’s relationships with partners, identifying partner stakeholders who will champion the company, and building alignment between the company and our partners
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of both deal processes and ongoing partner management and distribution initiatives
Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role.

Minimum requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, corporate development or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience related to payments and/or ecommerce
  • Deep EMEA market knowledge, Israel, the Middle East and Africa, and a thorough understanding of payment method dynamics and business models
  • Strong agency, can handle ambiguity in a fast-moving organization, and thrives on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities and drive creative solutions and commitment to a shared goal
  • Experience working in a product-centric environments with significant internal and external dependencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally across a wide variety of functions
