Page Personnel in Sevenoaks is recruiting for a Partner Designate at an independent accountancy firm. You will lead a portfolio, oversee accounts and taxes, and work with Partners to drive growth. This role offers a clear path to becoming the 3rd Partner of the firm.

The successful candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified, with CTA preferred, and have a proven leadership record and business development capability.

Qualificações

• ACCA/ACA qualification is required; CTA is a plus.
• Proven experience leading a team and managing a multi-year portfolio.
• Experience in accounting and tax work, with client-facing responsibility.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Oversee and review accounts, financial statements, corporation tax, and personal tax returns.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of client work and deadlines.
• Work with Partners to support growth of the practice.
• Contribute to business development and audit assignments where appropriate.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading independent accountancy firm in Sevenoaks. They have a rich history and they are planning for a prosperous future with the addition of a Partner Designate. This will be a key role for the firm and long term offer a route to become the 3rd Partner of the firm.

Job Description

• Manage a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Oversee and review accounts, financial statements, corporation tax, and personal tax returns.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of client work and deadlines.
• Work closely with Partners to support the smooth running and growth of the practice.
• Contribute to business development, marketing initiatives, and audit assignments where desired.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Partner Designate should have:

• ACCA/ACA qualified. Dual qualification of CTA preferred.
• Proven experience leading a team, winning new business, managing a portfolio over multiple years.
• Experience of accounting and tax work.
• Desire to build career to Partner level
• A strategic mindset with attention to detail in operational delivery
