Job summary

Early Break in Salford is seeking a Young People’s Specialist Substance Use Worker to deliver one-to-one casework with young people facing substance use and related vulnerabilities. The role emphasizes safeguarding, assessment, and collaborative planning with families and partners.

The position is part-time (28 hours per week) with possible evening/weekend sessions, and includes developing SMART care plans and coordinating with community services to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1, face to face work with young clients and their parents/carers as appropriate and manage appointments to meet clients’ needs, including evenings and/or weekends.
• Complete a full assessment of each client’s needs and develop, monitor and review SMART care plans.
