Job summary

Derby County Football Club is seeking a Part-Time Youth Development Phase Coach to join the Coaching Department at Moor Farm Training Centre. You will support the Youth Development Phase (U15-U16) by delivering coaching sessions, promoting holistic development, and contributing to the day-release programme while aligning with academy values.

You will work with Lead Coaches, attend reviews every ten weeks with players and parents, maintain Kitman Labs/Hudl records, and pursue ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• UEFA B License required for coaching youth players.
• FA Youth Award certification essential for academy coaching.
• First Aid (Level 2) in football and safeguarding credentials essential.

Responsibilities

• Coach across the U15/U16 squads and develop players’ progression.
• Ensure adherence to the academy’s holistic player development approach.
• Complete academy requirements on Kitman Labs and Hudl as scheduled.
• Conduct player and parent review meetings every ten weeks.
• Support Lead Coaches within the age group games programme and logistics.
• Pursue Development Action Plan and ongoing CPD for role growth.
• Support retain and release processes in line with club policy.
• Uphold health, safety and safeguarding standards for all players.
