Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a Youth and Community Development Worker for the Future4ME team in Lincolnshire. The role supports young people aged 8-18 to navigate education and transition to adulthood, delivering and evaluating youth clubs and activities across multiple sites.

The post requires a full UK driving license, willingness to travel, and a hybrid working pattern with some evenings in term time. Closing and interview dates are provided in the ad.

Qualifications

• Able to build relationships quickly and effectively with young people.
• Calming influence and able to reassure and support young people.
• Confident working with groups of teenagers.
• Understanding of societal trends affecting young people.
• Full UK driving license and access to a car; travel around the county required.

Responsibilities

• Engage and support young people aged 8-18 to move through education into adulthood and working life.
• Assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of youth clubs and activities across Lincolnshire.
• Work with at-risk and vulnerable young people using strength-based, relational approaches.
• Collaborate with Children’s services, community and partner agencies to provide seamless services.
