Job summary

North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking an Outreach Youth Practitioner on a part-time basis to support young people and families across North East Lincolnshire. You will engage with communities, motivate and signpost to services, and help ensure their voices are heard.

This role requires Friday, evening and weekend commitments. Salary NJC06 £26,847 FTE, 18.5 hours per week across three posts. RewardNEL benefits include pension and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Engage with young people and families to build trust and support their participation in community activities.
• Motivate, support, and inspire through meaningful youth engagement.
• Confident communicator and team player with empathy and energy.
• Able to identify when to signpost, escalate, or explore deeper needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with young people across North East Lincolnshire to support positive outcomes.
• Help ensure young people’s voices are heard and acted upon by services.
• Maintain professional case notes and share insights to improve community responses.
• Work flexibly, including occasional Friday, evening, and weekend commitments.
