Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Youth Worker in the Link Project within the Youth and Justice Service. The role focuses on advocacy, empowerment, and ensuring the child’s voice informs all work. Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 or above and significant experience with children and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding and working with partners.

Responsibilities

• As Youth Worker in the Link Project, work flexibly to meet needs of children, families and victims.
• Undertake complex assessments of needs and risks for children and families.
• Develop practice and undertake learning to improve outcomes.
• Listen to children’s voices and ensure their views inform assessments and records.
