Job summary

Cornwallis Care Services in Penzance is seeking a Wellbeing Coordinator to lead a varied programme of activities for our residents. You will organise events that support emotional, social and mental wellbeing, using a person-centred approach to include and empower everyone.

You will work closely with residents, families and colleagues to understand histories and preferences, promote independence, and reflect our Make Moments Matter ethos.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in health and social care is essential
• NVQ/Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential
• Good written English for accurate documentation of daily care and interactions

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of activities, from individual hobbies to group events and celebrations
• Promote independence, choice, and dignity by working in a person-centred and inclusive way
• Build strong relationships with residents' families and friends to better understand their personal histories and preferences
• Research and implement creative events that enrich residents' lives and encourage community engagement
• Collaborate with the marketing team to share regular updates, photos, and stories that highlight life within the home
• Be a passionate ambassador for our company ethos: "Make Moments Matter"
