Job summary

Centrum Care Homes is seeking an Activities Coordinator to create meaningful moments for residents at Estuary View. You will plan and deliver a varied programme of activities tailored to individual interests, building meaningful relationships and promoting wellbeing.

The role supports 15 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate. Training, DBS checks, and opportunities for development are provided, in a warm, supportive environment that values resident happiness and participation.

Qualifications

• Warm, caring and passionate about improving the lives of older people.
• Creative and enthusiastic with ideas for engaging activities.
• Organised and able to work independently.
• Confident communicator building relationships with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and individual activities.
• Build relationships with residents and understand their life stories and interests.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, social and cognitive wellbeing.
• Organise seasonal celebrations, themed events and community activities.
• Encourage participation and support residents who may be isolated.
• Maintain activity records and participation logs.
• Work closely with care teams to meet individual needs.
