Family Action is seeking a Volunteer Engagement Worker in Wythenshawe, Manchester. The role manages volunteers, promotes opportunities, recruits, inducts and supports volunteers to strengthen services for children, young people, parents and carers.

You will collaborate with colleagues and partners to engage under-represented families and help ensure active involvement in shaping and improving services. This is a permanent, part-time role (14.5 hours/week) with flexible working options.

Qualificações

• Experience recruiting and developing volunteers.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and engage families.
• DBS Enhanced checks are required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate day-to-day management of volunteers, promoting opportunities and recruitment.
• Support and develop volunteers to enhance services for children, young people, parents and carers.
• Work with partners to engage under-represented families and involve them in shaping services.
