Job summary

Vet Connect Limited seeks a Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, RCVS-accredited hospital and emergency clinic in West Yorkshire. The role covers 24 hours per week on a fixed day pattern within a busy, supportive team of 70 staff, including 15 vets.

You will manage inpatients, on-the-day emergencies, and ECC procedures with potential to develop specialisms. The role offers up to £36,000 per annum (£60,000 FTE), dependent on experience, with benefits including paid memberships

Qualifications

• Confident in general veterinary practice and case management
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented hospital environment
• Interest in developing clinical specialisms (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Support hospital inpatients and manage emergency on-the-day consultations
• Assist with ECC procedures and surgery
• Collaborate with a large clinical team to ensure high standards of care
