Job summary

Chattyvets in Manchester is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a 24-hour Hospital and Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) day team. The role focuses on inpatient hospital work and emergency cases within a state-of-the-art referral centre, offering excellent facilities and a progressive clinical environment.

You will work across a rota with other surgeons, mentors, and support staff to deliver high standards of care and client communication.

Qualifications

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with UK registration and full surgical competency.
• Experience in emergency and critical care is essential.
• Ability to mentor and collaborate within a large team.

Responsibilities

• Manage hospitalized patients, including workups, surgeries and treatments.
• Handle incoming ECC consultations and emergencies.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of surgeons and support staff.
