Job summary

CVS Vets is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist for Townsend Veterinary Centre in Bromsgrove. This permanent, on-site role involves greeting clients, booking appointments, processing payments, and supporting our team to put pets first.

Hours are 14 per week across Monday, Thursday and Friday with some Saturday shifts and occasional overtime. Salary aligns with National Minimum Wage, plus generous staff discounts and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a receptionist or similar client-focused role is essential.
• Experience in a veterinary setting is a bonus.
• Strong communication and empathy when dealing with clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Greet and register new clients, ensuring a warm welcome.
• Process payments and manage financial transactions accurately.
• Organise patients using the in-house system and liaise with veterinary practices.
