inspiring vet care in the West Midlands near Birmingham is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team on a part-time permanent basis. The role focuses on back-of-house tasks, cleaning, and equipment preparation while supporting the clinical team.

You’ll work under supervision, helping maintain a safe and calm environment for patients and clients, with opportunities to develop within our veterinary care pathway and apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• Reliable and motivated team member with a caring approach.
• Strong communication with colleagues and clients.
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Keen to develop within a veterinary environment.
• Experience working with animals is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Back of house duties including cleaning the practice and preparing rooms.
• Prepare equipment and stock for consultations.
• Support the clinical team and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Assist with general admin and patient care tasks as directed.
