Job summary

Erskine Veterans Charity is seeking a Home Support Worker to help Veterans and their families in their own homes across Glasgow and Dunbartonshire. The role is part-time (24 hours per week) with core hours 10:00–16:30 and permanent in status.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year's care or support experience if possible, hold a valid driving licence and car access. Personal care is not included; sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a care or support setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Veterans and spouses/partners in their own homes and local communities within the Glasgow area.
• Assist with errands and shopping and help around the home.
• Offer escorted trips for activities and help with appointments.
