Job summary

Erskine Veterans Charity is recruiting a Home Support Worker to join a friendly team covering Glasgow and Renfrewshire. The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours 10:00am–4:30pm. Permanent, part-time contract with a Grade 2 salary scale (£21,107.65–£21,127.12 per annum).

Applicants must have a valid UK work status and a driving licence. Responsibilities include home-based support, companionship, help with errands and appointments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a care or support setting is desirable.
• Full driving licence and access to a car for work is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Home Support to Veterans and spouses/partners in their own homes and local communities.
• Assist with errands, shopping, talking, and attending appointments.
• Support is not personal care or replacement for existing care services.
