Volkswagen Group is seeking a Vehicle Logistics Coordinator on a part-time basis (23.5 hours per week) to join Group Vehicle Operations in Milton Keynes. You will coordinate outbound and inbound vehicle movements, liaise with brands, and optimise shipping and transport to meet delivery deadlines.

Collaboration with internal teams and external partners will be essential to minimise costs and improve operational performance.

Qualificações

• Excellent communication with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with Brands and the Emden port supplier to manage the daily shipping programme, ensuring vehicles are shipped in the correct priority sequence and agreed standards are met.
• Optimise shipping, trucking and land utilisation to minimise costs in line with supplier contracts and budgeted allowances, including directing vehicles to the port closest to the customer where appropriate.
• Act as a key point of contact for logistics supplier partners, managing transport orders, ad-hoc vehicle movements and vehicle status system corrections.
• Coordinate special projects, including new model launches and press vehicles, and support urgent vehicles through the supply chain to successful delivery.
• Maintain SLi system interfaces, updates and data accuracy, producing reports to identify operational challenges and trends.
• Work closely with logistics suppliers, Volkswagen Konzern Logistik, Brands and the Vehicle Logistics Manager to provide visibility of supply chain performance and support Brand priorities and late requests.
• Support supplier performance against KPIs and manage short-notice logistics requests in line with shipping and transport deadlines.
