Job summary

Volkswagen Group UK is seeking a Vehicle Logistics Coordinator on a Part-Time (23.5 hours per week), permanent basis. You will report to the Outbound Logistics & Planning Manager and coordinate vehicle shipping from Emden and Iberian ports to UK ports, plus outbound logistics from UK ports to delivery locations.

You will liaise with Brands and port suppliers, optimise shipping and land utilisation, and manage transport orders, KPIs, and special projects including new model launches to ensure

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Experience in supplier relationship management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Collaborative approach with internal and external stakeholders.
• Organised, proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping programme with brands and Emden port supplier.
• Optimise shipping, trucking and land utilisation to minimise costs.
• Act as a key contact for logistics partners and manage transport orders.
• Coordinate special projects including new model launches and press vehicles.
• Maintain SLi system interfaces and produce reports on performance trends.
• Provide visibility of supply chain performance to stakeholders and support brand priorities.
• Support supplier performance against KPIs and handle short-notice logistics requests.
