Job summary

Volkswagen Group UK Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Logistics Coordinator for a full-time, fixed-term contract until mid January 2028. You will coordinate inbound and outbound vehicle movements across ports and UK centres, ensuring deliveries are timely and correctly prioritized, while optimising transport usage and costs.

You will liaison with brands and suppliers, manage transport orders and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics coordination and shipping planning.
• Strong communication and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Experience with supplier relationship management.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping from Emden & Iberian ports to UK ports.
• Optimise shipping, trucking and land utilisation to minimise costs.
• Act as primary contact for logistics partners and manage orders.
• Support LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce reports from SLi system interfaces.
• Collaborate with Brands, VW Konzern Logistik and Vehicle Logistics Manager.
• Support late requests and KPI performance.
