Job summary

Caterlink in Torquay is seeking a motivated Catering Manager to lead on-site catering operations, delivering nutritionally balanced meals and exceptional service to clients. The role offers part-time hours with no weekend work, and travel may be required.

You will oversee daily operations, manage budgets, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with health, safety and food safety regulations while maintaining high standards across all service areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking and presentation to professional standards.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and food safety requirements.
• Experience in inventory management and budget monitoring; supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink standards, ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Manage day-to-day operations, supervise teams, monitor inventories and budgets.
• Serve as main client contact, build relationships and communicate changes or improvements.
• Train and develop team members, conduct inductions and performance management.
