Job summary

Joining Careers Education is seeking a Tendering and Business Development Manager to lead the drafting, coordination and submission of tenders, framework applications and mini-tenders. The role requires turning complex information into persuasive responses and coordinating multiple teams.

The successful candidate will manage deadlines, build submission plans, and maintain evidence-based content while working in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills, turning detailed info into concise content.
• Strong knowledge of tender and bid-writing processes, including method statements.
• Ability to interpret tender specs, evaluation criteria and procurement requirements.
• Knowledge of public sector commissioning, framework agreements or equivalent processes.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, contributors and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-working environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and compile tenders, framework applications and mini-tenders.
• Translate tender specs, evaluation questions and submission instructions.
• Draft method statements with input from colleagues and experts.
• Coordinate contributions from operations, finance, quality and other teams.
• Develop submission plans and manage internal reviews and deadlines.
• Maintain procurement timetables and submission records.
• Build a library of approved tender content and evidence.
• Provide progress reports and identify risks and gaps.
