Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking a part-time Team Manager to lead a team of Scheme Housing Officers delivering intensive housing management. The role focuses on safe, well-managed schemes, KPI-driven performance, and excellent resident outcomes across sheltered, extra care and over-55s settings.

You will manage tenancy matters, income, arrears and service delivery, while liaising with external partners to support independent living. Hybrid working with occasional office presence at Farringdon.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with older people and/or within supported housing or housing-related support services.
• Demonstrable experience of driving performance and delivering results, with the capability to manage KPIs across a portfolio of schemes.
• Demonstrable staff management skills, covering supervision, development and performance monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of Independent Living services, relevant legislation, and recognised best practice.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Scheme Housing Officers to deliver a high-quality intensive housing management service.
• Ensure schemes are safe and well-managed, coordinating with internal/external stakeholders.
• Oversee tenancy management, income maximisation, arrears, anti-social behaviour, and environmental services.
• Monitor residents' needs and safety and support access to services.
• Oversee scheme spend, budgeting, purchase orders and invoices to ensure value for money.
