Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking a part-time Team Manager to lead a team of Scheme Housing Officers and deliver a high-quality intensive housing management service to meet residents' needs and support strategic objectives.

The role is based at our Fleet office with hybrid working, and involves managing tenancy processes, budget oversight, and collaboration with external partners to help residents live independently within active communities.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with older people and/or within supported housing or housing-related support services with a focus to ensure residents remain as independent for as long as possible
• Demonstrable experience driving performance and delivering results with capability to manage KPIs across a portfolio of schemes
• Demonstrable staff management skills including supervision, development and performance monitoring
• Strong knowledge of Independent Living services, relevant legislation and good practice within the sector
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Scheme Housing Officers to deliver a high-quality intensive housing management service
• Be visible and accountable and embed an environment where your team is empowered and supported to deliver a great service to residents
• Ensure efficient on the spot tenancy management including letting empty homes, income maximisation and arrears management
• Ensure residents’ needs and safety are monitored, and they’re supported to access a full range of services and support
• Oversee spend in schemes on utilities and other costs, set budgets, manage purchase orders and invoices, and address overspends or anomalies
