Aspire People is seeking a flexible teaching assistant for a part-time role near Sutton Coldfield, starting September. You will work 3 days per week across Reception and Year 5, supporting with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, and one-to-one SEND.

Candidates should have Level 3 TA qualification, recent primary experience, and strong EYFS/KS1 knowledge. The role requires adaptability in a busy school environment and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable).
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis.
• Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
• Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• One day in Reception class, one day supporting a child in Reception with SEMH/ADHD, and one day with a Year 5 child with ASD.
• Work with different children each day, adapting to individual needs.
• Provide flexible support across key early years and primary settings.
• Collaborate with part-time staff to ensure smooth class coverage.

If your current role is coming to an end, and you are looking for a part‑time position from September, we have a role for you!

A school local to Sutton Coldfield/Erdington is looking for a flexible teaching assistant wo work 3 days per week, covering with other part‑time staff members.

As you will be working with different children each day, an adaptable individual is required.

1 day of this role would be class‑based within Reception, 1 day would be spent supporting a child in Reception with SEMH and ADHD, and the final day would be working with a child in Year 5 with ASD who can often be defiant.

This is an excellent school to work at.

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Level 3 + Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable)
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one to one basis
• Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
• Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years
