Job summary

Aspire People Limited in Sutton Coldfield is assisting a local school with a flexible part-time Teaching Assistant role. The post covers 3 days per week across Reception and early years, with some days in Year 5, supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3+ Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferred), have recent primary school experience, and be adaptable to work with different children and routines. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3+ Teaching Assistant qualification and experience supporting SEND pupils one-to-one.
• Excellent knowledge of EYFS and KS1 curriculum is required.
• Adaptability to work with different children and in various settings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work 3 days per week across Reception, Reception SEMH/ADHD support, and Year 5 with ASD.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support as needed.
• Assist with class activities and maintain safeguarding and welfare of pupils.

If your current role is coming to an end, and you are looking for a part-time position from September, we have a role for you!

A school local to Sutton Coldfield/Erdington is looking for a flexible teaching assistant wo work 3 days per week, covering with other part-time staff members. As you will be working with different children each day, an adaptable individual is required.

1 day of this role would be class-based within Reception, 1 day would be spent supporting a child in Reception with SEMH and ADHD, and the final day would be working with a child in Year 5 with ASD who can often be defiant.

This is an excellent school to work at.

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Level 3 + Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable)
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one to one basis
• Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
• Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years
