Job summary

Palladian Academy Trust is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for the Monkton Farleigh base of Churchfields, The Village School. You will support children with additional needs as part of a close-knit staff team, helping them on their educational journey and building positive home/school relationships.

This is a temporary, term-time contract linked to named child(ren), working 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Temporary contract linked to named child(ren).
• Term-time only plus one INSET day; 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support children with additional needs as part of a dedicated staff team.
• Engage with pupils to support their educational journey and break barriers.
• Communicate with parents to establish positive home/school relationships.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure inclusivity and safeguarding.
