Job summary

London Borough of Bromley is seeking a Teaching Assistant with Named Child to provide learning support for a pupil with an EHCP at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School. This permanent role is 30 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, with a salary of £28,617 (pro rata). Visits to the school by prior arrangement are welcome, with closing date 14 September at 12pm.

DBS check and references are required. Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 or 4, GCSE English and Maths at C, and the ability to work as

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in either specialist provision or mainstream school.
• NVQ Level 3 or 4, ideally with additional learning related to SEND.
• GCSE English and Maths at minimum grade C.
• Direct experience of supporting children with complex communication needs.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
