We are looking for a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to help inspire, nurture, and support our incredible students. In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with a team of professionals to provide tailored support that empowers children to thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with special educational needs.
• Help create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
• Support the development of students’ social, emotional, and academic skills.

What We’re Looking For:

• TA qualification preferred , though experience and a passion for learning are also highly valued.
• Previous experience working with children or adults with SEND.
• A caring and patient approach, with the ability to adapt to individual student needs.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for making a difference in students’ lives.

Safeguarding children is an integral part of what we do and we have a stringent safer recruitment process. We undertake checks on all the candidates we work with. As such we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in Schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position but long term. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available.
