Job summary

Wansdyke School in Devizes, Wiltshire, is seeking a friendly Teaching Assistant to join the team from November 2026. This permanent, part-time role covers 20 hours per week during 38 weeks of term time, supporting ages 4–11 and working across all year groups.

The school emphasises a caring environment, strong teamwork and ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will be First Aid trained (or willing to complete) and capable of promoting pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing

• Support learning and inclusion for SEND pupils.
• Work flexibly to support children of all abilities.
• Assist with classroom activities and supervision as required.
