Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for Stafford on a part-time supply basis. The role involves mornings or afternoons, supporting teachers and pupils in busy classrooms while providing SEND support to pupils with additional needs.

The ideal candidate will adapt quickly to different schools and build strong working relationships with staff and parents. You will work on a temporary basis, with pay: £93–£110 per day including holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to support pupils across primary age range.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Strong pupil-centred approach and patience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in busy classrooms.
• Support pupils individually, in groups and whole classes.
• Lead small group interventions when required.
• Provide SEND support for pupils with additional needs.
