Job summary

Ribble Valley Borough Council is seeking a Swimming Teacher/Lifeguard to deliver swimming instruction to children and adults in accordance with our programme. You must have ASA/STA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Certificate and a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

You will carry out some lifeguarding duties when not teaching and must be a team player. Hours are 18.5 per week across Thursday to Saturday, with a start as early as 8:45 and finish by 18:30; a 30 minute meal break applies for

Qualifications

• You must have ASA/STA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Certificate and a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
• You will provide swimming instruction to children and adults as per our programme.
• DBS check will be undertaken and candidate must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming lessons to children and adults as per agreed programme.
• Carry out lifeguarding duties when not teaching.
• Work as part of the team to ensure safety and programme delivery.
