Job summary

Ribble Valley Borough Council is seeking a Part Time Swimming Teacher to deliver swimming instruction to both children and adults. The role includes lifeguarding duties when not teaching and requires a team-oriented approach.

Hours are 18.5 per week across Thursday to Saturday with some term-time variations; an enhanced DBS and practical assessment are part of the process. The council offers benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires ASA/STA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Certificate.
• Must hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
• Provides swimming instruction to children and adults as per our programme.
• Be a reliable team player and assist in lifeguarding when not teaching.
