Job summary

Walsall Council is recruiting casual swimming instructors to join our team in delivering high-quality swimming sessions in Walsall. The role targets both adults and children, requiring strong customer service and a passion for swimming instruction.

You will work on a casual basis with flexible hours, supporting the delivery of approved programmes in line with awarding body standards. Candidates must hold an ASA/STA Level 1 or Level 2 swimming teacher qualification and a NRASTC light or RLSS pool

Qualifications

• Experience in instruction duties or working in a service environment.
• Must hold ASA or STA Level 1 or Level 2 swimming teacher qualification.
• Must hold NRASTC light or RLSS pool lifeguard qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming instruction to adults and children in line with awarding body specifications.
• Work within a tight-knit team to provide high-quality swimming provision.
• Support in delivering safe and engaging swimming sessions.
