Job summary

Walsall Council is recruiting casual Swimming Instructors to join our community facilities in Walsall. You will deliver swimming instruction to adults and children in line with awarding body specifications, supporting the delivery of high-quality sessions.

A strong customer service ethos and recent ASA/STA Level 1 or 2 coaching qualification are essential. Successful applicants will hold NRASTC light or RLSS pool lifeguard qualification and be available for casual shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver swimming instruction.
• Experience delivering instruction to adults and children in line with awarding body specifications.
• Must hold ASA/STA Level 1 or Level 2 swimming teacher qualification and lifeguard qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming instruction to adults and children.
