Voluntary Service Aberdeen in Aberdeen is recruiting for a part-time Support Worker at Arrdeir House. The position is permanent, 28 hours per week, with a fixed rolling rota that includes late and early shifts and some weekend work. Sleepovers attract an additional allowance; pay is £13.45 per hour.

You will support adults with ongoing mental health conditions, provide personal care when needed, and help develop recovery-focused plans in line with VSA standards.

Formación

• Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
• Membership of the PVG scheme.
• Willingness and ability to achieve SCQF Level 6 within 3 years.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate effectively with individuals and update records as required.
• Provide a safe environment, follow health and safety procedures, and assist with medication when appropriate.
• Support daily living, personal care, independence, and recovery-based plans.
• Encourage social connections and participate in supervision and meetings.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks to support services and users.
