Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Potter Heigham to aid three gentlemen with daily living, activities and independent living. The role involves active outdoor and community engagement, with shifts across early, late, long days and sleep-ins, on-site in Potter Heigham.

Ideal candidates will be customer-focused, adaptable and able to work in a small team or alone. Full UK driving licence is essential; DBS is enhanced and provided by Dimensions.

Qualifications

• Able to build positive relationships and communicate effectively.
• Motivated to encourage independence, choice and control.
• Adaptable, reliable and able to respond to changing needs.
• Confident in team work and also comfortable lone working.
• Willing to learn insulin administration after training.
• Full UK driving licence and confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support people to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
• Assist with daily living skills, meal preparation, household tasks, shopping and appointments.
• Provide medication support and personal care as required.
• Learn and undertake health-related tasks, including insulin administration after training.
