Job summary

Lifeways in Malvern is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join Crown Lea Avenue, a peaceful home supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and related needs. You will help with daily routines, personal care, and community activities, including driving outings when needed.

The role is part-time (24 hours per week) with day and night shifts; driving is essential due to location. Full training and support are provided to help you grow in a rewarding care career at Lifeways.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence Required: Full UK Manual (essential due to location)
• Previous experience in care is helpful, but not required—we welcome those with a passion for helping others and offer full training and support.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with daily routines such as cooking, personal care, and household tasks
• Encouraging participation in hobbies and community activities like crafts, music, swimming, and sensory sessions
• Promoting independence and building confidence
• Monitoring wellbeing and responding to individual needs
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the wider team
• Driving mobility vehicles to support individuals with outings and appointments
