Headway Birmingham & Solihull is seeking a Communications & Fundraising Manager to lead income generation and raise the profile of vital services across Birmingham and Solihull. The role reports to the CEO and covers fundraising, communications, media relations and social media with a focus on engaging supporters and partners.

You will develop plans, secure grants, build community links, organise events, oversee content, and manage volunteers.

Formación

• Proven fundraising experience and partnership development.
• Experience writing trust and grant applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience managing social media, marketing or communications activity.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Canva or similar design tools.
• Creative, proactive approach with passion for helping others.
• Minimum two years fundraising experience.
• Full UK driving licence with business-use vehicle.
• Willing to work some evenings and weekends for events.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver fundraising plans to meet income targets.
• Identify and secure grants, trusts, sponsorships and community fundraising.
• Build relationships with donors, local businesses, schools and groups.
• Organise and run fundraising events and campaigns.
• Lead charity communications, social media, publicity and marketing.
• Produce engaging content for newsletters, websites and media.
• Recruit, support and supervise fundraising volunteers.
• Monitor fundraising performance and report to CEO and Board.
