Job summary

Wessex Water Services is seeking a qualified teacher to join the Education Service as part of our Community Engagement team. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, during term time and school holidays.

You will deliver STEM workshops, host groups at Education Centres in Bournemouth, and engage with the public at events to explain our water and wastewater operations. Applicants must have Qualified Teacher Status, strong safeguarding knowledge, excellent teaching and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status is required to join our Education Service.
• Excellent teaching and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in delivering STEM activities with schools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver STEM workshops, mainly in Dorset schools and across the Wessex Water region.
• Host school and adult groups at Education Centres, especially Holdenhurst Water Recycling Centre in Bournemouth.
• Attend educational and public events to explain water treatment and supply.
