Job summary

Restaurant Associates UK is hiring a proactive Sous Chef to support our clients in Greater London on a 32-hour weekly contract. You will work with a passionate team to deliver exceptional, fresh cuisine and memorable dining experiences.

You’ll thrive on collaboration, maintain high hygiene standards, manage food quality and costs, and help develop a positive kitchen culture that celebrates creativity and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food service
• Creating a positive kitchen environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Supporting the team in delivering our tasty food concepts to customers
• Representing the brand and maintaining a positive image
• Assisting with stock controls and food waste management
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards
• Supporting the team to manage budgets and meet targets
• Complying with Food Handling and Health & Safety standards
