Job summary

Ridgeway Tavern in London is seeking a Part-Time Sous Chef with a passion for great food and training great people. You’ll run a section, lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence and ensure the brigade works as one unit.

You\'ll smash targets with your team, develop your staff through coaching and maintain high standards of food preparation and hygiene under a branded menu. Mitchells & Butlers supports your growth with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team
• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and HACCP

Responsibilities

• Lead your section and ensure the kitchen runs as one.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver consistently great food.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Oversee compliance with branded menu standards and hygiene rules.
