Job summary

Rose & Crown at Vintage Inns is seeking a Part Time Sous Chef who is passionate about great food, training people, and making guests smile. You’ll run a section, lead the team in the Head Chef’s absence, and help deliver dishes that reflect the branded menu with pride.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams in a busy pub/restaurant.
• Proven ability to train and develop junior staff.
• Knowledge of stock ordering and cost control in a branded menu context.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence and smash targets.
• Support with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Work confidently with the branded menu and kitchen procedures.

As a Part Time Sous Chef at the Rose & Crown, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces. You'll run a section, ensuring your team are working together as one and you will be the person to step up in leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef. Does this sound like you?
