Job summary

Mitchells & Butler s PLC, Miller & Carter Cardiff Bay, is seeking a Part Time Sous Chef with a passion for great food, training teams, and delivering guest satisfaction. You’ll run a section and support the Head Chef in their absence.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef in a branded restaurant environment.
• Ability to train and develop kitchen teams to deliver consistent quality.
• Working knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Experience in stock control and food ordering processes.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

As a Part Time Sous Chef at Miller & Carter - Cardiff Bay , you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces.
