Job summary

Walsall College is seeking a SEND Job Coach to join the Supported Learning department on a part-time basis. The role provides end-to-end support for students to access meaningful work experiences, in line with SEND Code of Practice and Preparation for Adulthood.

You will work closely with curriculum and support teams, students, their parents/carers and relevant professionals to create accessible opportunities for work experience and to support employers in preparing workplaces for student

• Collaborate with curriculum and support teams, students, parents/carers and external agencies to develop accessible work opportunities.
• Support employers to ensure workplaces are ready and equipped to support students on placements.
